Caleb DeVaughn is a contemporary visual artist based in Indian Trail, North Carolina. While growing up in Germany as a military child, he creates a story with his art through graphic canvas. Caleb’s work explores themes of identity, connection, and the interplay between fashion and urban life. He also has two streetwear brands called Compulsion & Le’Fuq Enterprise and has been in business for 5 years. His vibrant mixed-media pieces often incorporate found materials and organic elements, inviting viewers to reflect on their relationship with the environment. Also, telling a story about his life and expanding his thoughts as a form of therapy. Over the past decade, Caleb has hosted his fashion shows and brand popups in numerous solo and group shows, including the Hood Met Gala part 1 & 2 and 2 consecutive years at the Johnson C Smith University Fashion Show. His pieces are part of private and public collections across the United States and abroad. In addition to his studio practice, Caleb is dedicated to community engagement and leads workshops to encourage artistic expression in underserved neighborhoods. When he's not creating, Caleb enjoys playing basketball & designing logos for various brands across the country.
